Biography
Cheryl Schmidt, MS, received her BA in Psychology and MS in Human Resource Development from St. John Fisher College. Her professional background has encompassed the last 10 years in progressive human resource positions. Cheryl's most recent position was lead HR executive for a mid-sized human services organization. Cheryl has served in various HR roles; including recruitment, benefits administration, HR generalist, senior HR management, and consulting capacities. Prior to entering the human resources field, Cheryl’s professional experiences include working with individuals with developmental disabilities, patient care in the mental health field, and administration and planning in a public relations capacity. Her expertise lies in recruitment planning, employee and management training, leadership program implementation, HR function design and transformation, organization development, and policy development.
